Concrete Raising of North Carolina™
Raise sinking concrete…at
a fraction of the cost of replacement! |

The cost of raising concreteIn almost
all cases, raising concrete provides a significant cost savings over
replacement. We are experienced at raising concrete and we have completed
hundreds of successful projects, and each job is unique. The amount of
sinking, the size of the void beneath the concrete, the thickness of the
concrete, the number of cracks in the concrete, and the accessibility of the
job are all factors in estimating the cost of repairs. Because
of these many variables, it is difficult to provide a quote for the project
without inspection. The sample project descriptions provided on this page
should give you a rough idea of the cost for various projects. We invite you
to contact us so we can schedule a time to inspect
your sinking concrete and provide a quote for raising it. |

Sinking doorway approach project Poor
water drainage from a roof downspout cased the sidewalk to sink in front of the
door approach. Our crew raised the sidewalk level with the door approach
using pressure grouting to help prevent further erosion. We patched and
cleaned the slab and sealed the crack to prevent further water damage from
seepage between the slab and door approach. Cost: $525 |

Sinking sidewalk project When this
sidewalk was installed, there was insufficient gravel and supporting base
material underneath several sections of the concrete. The joints of the sidewalk
became raised and uneven. Our crew raised the slabs and pressure grouted to
hold it stable and compensate for the softer base material. We patched,
cleaned and aligned the slabs, resulting in a level, straight sidewalk. Cost: $575 |

Sinking patio project Water
draining from the roof of the garage eroded the base from underneath this
patio, causing severe sinking, cracking and warping of the concrete slab and
a leak through the window well into the foundation. Our crew pumped a
significant amount of grout material to fill the void beneath the patio,
raising the slab to level grade. We filled the cracks and joints to reduce
water penetration and patched the foundation leak. Cost: $750 |
